Eastern Liguria Vermentino Nero
Vintage 2022
Vermentino Nero is an old vine of Lunigiana which has recently been included in the geographical indication "Liguria di Levante" has risen to new life. Obtained exclusively from vineyards created to produce this wine on the estate owned by the family, in the Feletti area in Santo Stefano di Magra. The vineyard is located in a poor soil that manages to dominate a vine that tends to be vigorous like Vermentino Nero. The harvest is done manually with selection of the grapes in the vineyard, followed by a soft destemming of the bunches and vinification in stainless steel barrels where it is previously done a start of fermentation with the yeasts of the grapes themselves. The bright but not very intense color, the acidity, the fine tannic grain make a very captivating wine with a pleasant drinkability. Malolactic fermentation carried out, refining in stainless steel tanks, refining in the bottle.
